Public Alert: Warning Against Unregistered and Unaccredited Training Institutions

The National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority (NAQAA) hereby notifies the general public that the following entities are offering Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes without being registered or accredited, and without complying with the regulatory requirements set out in the NAQAA Act, 2021:

1. Five Star Architects – Sukuta
2. Gomindz Academy
3. Vital Assure – Busumbala, West Coast Region
4. Rising Stars Academy – Green House, West Coast Region
5. Kabboumb Academy – Coastal Road, West Coast Region
6. Impact Medical Institute & Diagnostics – New Road, Manjai Kunda, Kanifing Municipality
7. Saidykhan’s Decoration and Design Skills Academy – Brikama
   

These institutions are not recognized by NAQAA and are operating illegally. The public is strongly advised not to engage with or enroll in any programmes offered by these entities.

Please be aware that any qualifications or certificates issued by these unaccredited institutions will not be recognized either in The Gambia or internationally. Enrolling in such programmes could result in both academic and financial loss.

NAQAA warns all unregistered and unaccredited institutions to immediately cease all operations and to refrain from offering any form of training or education until they have regularised their status in accordance with the NAQAA Act, 2021.

Individuals and organizations that choose to collaborate with these institutions do so at their own risk. NAQAA will report such violations to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will pursue legal action against any person or body found to be in breach of the law.

The Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting quality, integrity, and credibility in The Gambia’s education and training sector. Members of the public are encouraged to verify the registration and accreditation status of any institution with NAQAA before enrolling or making financial commitments.
