The objective of the sensitization meeting was:

1. To ensure quality and consistency in programme accreditation, curriculum development, and teaching methodologies.

2. Facilitate student mobility by enabling credit transfer and maintaining academic integrity.

3. Enhance graduate employability by aligning academic programmes with labor market needs.

4. Strengthen institutional accountability 
through standardized self-assessment, external evaluation, and accreditation.

5.Promote international recognition for Gambian universities in the global higher education landscape.
