The NAQAA Directorates are essential units that oversee various key functions within the authority, such as quality assurance, research, administration, and finance. Each directorate works collaboratively to ensure the effective regulation, accreditation, and enhancement of education and training institutions in The Gambia. Together, they support NAQAA's mission to uphold excellence in education and institutional standards.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads NAQAA in setting strategic direction and ensuring that the institution meets its goals of enhancing the quality of education and training across The Gambia. The CEO provides leadership and ensures alignment of all directorates with NAQAA’s mission.

The Directorate of Quality Assurance is tasked with ensuring that all educational institutions meet national quality standards. This directorate monitors and evaluates institutions to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of education.

Directorate of Quality Assurance

The Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship fosters a culture of research and innovation while promoting entrepreneurial initiatives within the education sector. The directorate ensures that education and training programs are aligned with the evolving needs of the economy and labor market.

The Directorate of Admin & Finance ensures that NAQAA operates efficiently and manages its financial and administrative resources effectively. It is responsible for all aspects of internal operations, including financial management, human resources, and facilities.
